While serving as Emaimai Hong Kong's VP of Marketing, Cyber-Solutions' Lance Hoffman led several marketing initiatives to gain exposure and build brand awareness for Emaimai. These activities included garnering print and TV media coverage for the company and its CEOs, and marketing campaigns such as the "ChopShop" that generated a 10x increase in site traffic and revenues. Outdoor, Tram, Bus, Online and Print advertising was created and placed by the Emaimai marketing team in support of the "ChopShop" initiative.

The Emaimai marketing team, led by Mr. Hoffman also managed the Chow Yun-Fat Postage Stamp Unveiling as well as the Hello Kitty Postage Stamp Unveiling. Both of these activities generated significant media attention, thereby increasing brand awareness for Emaimai.

In early 2001, Emaimai changed its primary line of business from online auction and collectibles to the development of wireless payment systems. In support of getting that message out, press and analyst meetings were held detailing the transition, and again, significant media coverage resulted, a sample of which can be seen in the video below.
